| TIMA Vietnam Tzu-Chi Vietnam branch
started operation about three years ago as Commissioner Bi-Yun Yand brought Master Cheng
Yen's love and compassion into Vietnam. Currently, the Vietnam branch has 7 commissioners,
15 core volunteers and 200 members of both native and Taiwanese nationals. One hundred and
forty needy families receive care and financial assistance from the branch regularly. The
branch has also carried out two medical missions and is now planning on another one.
- I Ling Mission: A remote mountain village in Southern Vietnam received care from
Tzu-Chi. Several thousand patients were treated. Food and goods were also distributed.
